So I recently saw some sketches from the Steven Universe Artbook; 'End of an Era' which it seems it had a lot of ideas that never made it to the show but honestly were pretty interesting - like the sketch of an older Connie and 'Perfect' Steven who seems much more healthy then the one in future but I think the one that interested me the most was the Morganite Concept design.

Morganite, an unknown Gem, is mentioned by Rhodonite. She owned the two halves of Rhodonite before replacing them after they fled. Morganite was supposed to appear in a Steven Universe Future episode, where it would be revealed that Rhodonite's Ruby and Pearl had fallen in love and fused many times before, with Morganite rejuvenating them each.

Gems that are worthy of a Pearl could be Gems that have served great purposes or are rare such as Sapphires, Morganites, Aquamarines, and of course, Diamonds. All Gems with a high status are allowed to have Pearls. Pearls live to serve and their identity is fundamentally tied to their owner.

Morganite is canon--Rhodonite mentions to Steven after he met the off-colors that Morganite was their original owner before they fled to live as fusion. Morganite's design was revealed in the artbook "Steven Universe: End of an Era." As seen here in these pictures:

If concept art like this was in the book, it would not only be blurry rn, but would also have "Copyrighted Material" on the top and bottom of the page like all of the other images from the book have.
